Enforcement Procedure (Claims Procedure)

The claims procedure outlined in Article 13 of Royal Decree 1112/2018 will come into force on September 20, 2020.

If, after an accessible information request or complaint has been made, it is dismissed, the user disagrees with the decision adopted, or the response does not meet the requirements set out in Article 12.5, the interested party may initiate a claim. A claim may also be initiated if a period of twenty business days has elapsed without a response being received.
